A guided journey on Auckland’s iconic Rangitoto Island and an introduction to neighbouring Motutapu island, the ancient home of the Ngāi Tai Māori people.

Knowledgeable guides will share with you traditional and contemporary stories linked to these beautiful islands. These are fully guided walking tours where your specialist kaiārahi (guide) will share their local knowledge and expertise, so you can feel a part of this stunning landscape and learn the stories of this land and people.

This experience will also allow you to view New Zealand’s best example of flora and fauna regeneration programmes. It is for this reason that bird species from around the country are relocated to Rangitoto and Motutapu.
